SoloBucks is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what does and doesn't happen when you use it.
No account, no sign-up, no forms. SoloBucks doesn't use cookies and doesn't run any analytics or tracking scripts. The only thing stored on your device is which color theme you last chose. None of the numbers you enter — salary, hours, vacation days, or anything else — are ever sent anywhere. Every calculation runs directly in your own browser.
SoloBucks uses your browser's localStorage — not cookies — for exactly one thing: remembering whether you last had light or dark mode selected, so it opens the way you left it next time. That's the only preference saved. Your salary figures, hours, and any results shown are never stored anywhere and disappear the moment you close or refresh the tab.
SoloBucks is built to support two unobtrusive ad slots served through an ad network (an anchor bar and an in-content result placement). As of this writing, both are inactive — no ads are currently being shown, and no advertising-related data is being collected.
If and when they're activated, the ad network may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which can include information about your visit for the purpose of ad personalization. You can control ad personalization directly through Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized advertising generally through the Digital Advertising Alliance. This policy will be updated with more specific detail before those slots are turned on.
SoloBucks is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we don't collect personal information from anyone at all.
If SoloBucks' data practices change — most likely when the ad slots above are activated — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect that.
